aquaguy91 | My cancer moon friend is in a major funk because he recently got his heart broken, it was really bad! And ever since then he just hasn't been the same. I haven't seen the guy smile or laugh in days and I can almost always make him laugh! I'm at wits end, I hate seeing somebody this depressed. Anybody got any advice? |
hypatia238 | Take him out to eat food he loves and reassure him a lot that things are going to be fine and he will meet someone new. Yeah but mooon in cancers really really hate break ups.. Wish him the best! <3 |

aquaguy91 | ^ that's what he is doing too. The problem is his dad is a major alcoholic and I don't want him to go down that path. It's times like this that make me grateful that I have my Taurus Moon. |

LionFish | Unfortunately, I don't think an outside source can fix this. Cancer Moon just needs time to cry and.. well cry some more.. he will come out of it in his own due time.. You're a good friend, though.. maybe at this point just stick by him and make sure he doesnt hurt himself. |
Liliya | I know it sounds obvious, but from my experience dealing with them (my Libra man and best friend are Cancer Moons), just show you care. Ask them if he is ok, even by a text. If your friend opens up by sharing his pain (depending on other chart positions), listen to him, really listen, and hear, try to understand. It takes a lot of patience, especially for an Uranian person, but it's worth it - Cancer Mooner make some of the best friends! |

carm76 | I'm a cancer rising so the moon rules my emotions and I need to feel/live the pain. It's part of the experience and he has to learn how to manage/grow with it because it is very personal part of him that will always be there. I'm a sag so I tend to get myself out after a week or so depending on the circumstance. What is his rising sign? I would look to that for guidance. |

If he were a woman I could give you advice because I have a cousin with Cancer moon but since you are both men, I don't know what you can do. What works with the women is being treated like a lady. Cancer moon women really appreciate that. So I would say just be considerate of your friend's feelings and show that you are concerned. Cancer moon people really like the feeling that you care about their well being and your communication reassures them that you care. |

Oh God. Lol He will be crying and pouting for up to a year. I can't deal with that noise. |
Sagical | A night of karaoke and some really dark songs to help Cancer moon feel it out. Then find some dark comedy to bring healing laughs......maybe if Cancer moon sees some humor in the situation, if might lift the mood. Find some cute furry animal for some fur therapy. Those animals are loving and unconditional. If it was bad heart break.....imagine writing a condolence card to the ex's new interest or something. But don't send it. The need is to find an expression to get the emotions out. Signed, Another Cancer Moon |
Ellynlvx | My Daughter says: A ten hour marathon of anime. Long walks on the beach with Dark, Depressing Music. Ice Cream. Lots of Ice Cream. My Son: Just guessing, but probably something very physical or maybe four-wheeling out in the back of beyond.

Moon is Lunatic | It isn't that hard to make me happy, even if it's just temporary. Talking / spending time with people important to me makes me always feel better. Some Cancer Mooners might like being by themselves when they're feeling down rather than being with others, but not me. Nothing makes me happier than having people by my side who care. (I have Cancer Sun-Moon conjunction sitting on my Dsc though.) Also watching my favorite shows, listening music, reading... |
Virgo28 | - Give him/her some grounding emotional support. - Be quiet and listen to her problem. - Let him/her pour all her feelings out. - Be empathetic In other words be like a virgo moon lol =). ------------------ "If a man does not work passionately - even furiously - at being the best in the world at what he does, he fails his talent, his destiny, and his God." |

What's his Venus sign? I feel like even though we may share the same Moon,we have very differing perspectives on this "love" thing. I have a Venus in Scorpio and I tend to get take heartache quite seriously.I struggle to let go. The best way for me to feel better is through bawling my eyes out, locking myself away from the world and just trying to hate the person I once loved. I even plot revenge Venus in Sagittarius may feel as much pain as I do if they are going through the same thing. But they also tend to not dwell too much and dissect it in great detail. They also tend to be very philosophic and think in terms of "maybe everything happens for a reason?" etc. Venus in Libra may hurt and feel as conflicted as Scorpio. But will often give the impression that they are "fine" and are coping. The best way they deal with it is to talk it all out. They try to intellectualize it and look at the pros and cons of the situation. Everybody deals with it differently.

At first I was thinking, "they can have their spirits lifted?"... Joking. But this makes a lot of sense, I agree. |
Marandana | Good food would suit better a taurus moon. My best friend is a cancer moon and when she's dealing with bad stuff she just wants someone to listen to all she has to say and let her cry without judging. |

aquaguy91 | Oh brother... I'm starting to lose my patience just a little bit. He has done nothing but cry and drink for days. I don't care what anyone else says it's disturbing and weird when a full grown man sobs like a little girl. I might be more understanding of all this if I wasn't going through my own hell right now. Things have been bad for me the past week but I have not cried or picked up the bottle to self medicate. I guess that's just my aquarius, capricorn, and taurus placements talking. Lol |
StarlightSmileSupreme | Man that's so sad. Maybe he's drunk when he sobs? Alcohol can do that. Hope he starts to feeling better. If he doesn't, might need counseling. |

He has been drinking and driving too, I told him I'm gonna kick his a** if he does it again. Hopefully he will heed my warning. Lol
